
Bayern Munich punished a player for falling asleep in one of Vincent Kompany's team talks, it has now been revealed.
The Bundesliga celebrated their second consecutive Bundesliga title under Kompany at the weekend, wrapping up the league following a 4-2 win over Stuttgart.
The Bavarian giants are eyeing up a historic treble win, having secured a place in the DFB Pokal final as well as being two games away from reaching the Champions League final.

But the ex Burnley boss is also known to be a strict disciplinarian and it's emerged that one Bayern star was singled out after falling below standards.
According to SPORT BILD, youngster Wisdom Mike snoozed in a morning meeting having been out the night before with a fellow teammate.

He did not deny the allegations and Kompany and the club took action. The Belgian decided against addressing the issue in public and spoke to Wisdom privately, as well as holding a conversation with his father.
However, he was made an example of in a different way. The 17-year-old was banned from the campus for a week and forced to pay for his own hotel as a punishment.
The matter was considered closed after that and the prospect has played five times in all competitions this season.
Signed from Duisburg in 2022, he has primarily played for the Under 19 side, featuring eleven times and scoring three goals.
