Real Madrid have set their asking price for Rodrygo amid interest from Premier League clubs and have already decided on his replacement.
Real signed Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth and Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool ahead of the Club World Cup, with more signings expected ahead of the new season.
The club also plan to trim their squad, with Rodrygo linked with a stunning move away from Bernabeu.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham have all expressed an interest in snapping up the Brazilian international, with the Premier League the 'most likely exit point' for him.
That's according to Spanish outlet Cadena SER, who claim Real will ask for around €90 million (£77 million), which is a sum that the club could go to the market for a new midfielder.

Xabi Alonso wants to sign a midfielder ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, with Martin Zubimendi thought to be on their radar.

A pursuit for a high-profile midfielder could be funded by the possible sale of Rodrygo.
Real are aware of Arsenal's interest, but the player wants to explore other options, with Pep Guardiola believed to be interested in acquiring his services.
Cadena SER state the 24-year-old is the 'weak link' in their attack and is behind Kylian Mbappe, Brahim Diaz and Gonzalo Garcia, who scored in his side's Club World Cup opener against Al Hilal.
Rodrygo joined Real in the summer of 2019 for £39 million and has scored 68 goals across all competitions for the club.

If he does leave the club this summer, then his slot in the team could be filled by Franco Mastantuono, who will join the Spanish giants on August 14, when he turns 18 after they activated his release clause.
Mastantuono has been tipped to rival Lamine Yamal, with Alonso impressed by the Argentine starlet's ambition and maturity.
"Regarding Franco... we're happy, because he's a kid with a fantastic present and an incredible future. His maturity translates off the pitch," he said. "I was impressed by the conversations I had with him; by his ambition and maturity. Things don't happen by chance. We're following him at River Plate, where he's taking steps that have led him to Real Madrid. He'll be very important."
