Saudi Professional League side Al Ittihad have reportedly made their final decision regarding Mohamed Salah.

Towards the end of August, it was widely reported that Al Ittihad were seriously interested in signing Salah from Liverpool.

However, they were hampered by the fact that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp pubicly declared that Salah was not for sale.

Al Ittihad then had a bid of £150 million rejected by the Anfield club a few days before the European transfer window closed.

With the Saudi transfer window set to close on Thursday, it has been reported that Al Ittihad has made their final decision.

According to Foot Mercato, the saga involving Salah and Al Ittihad is now over as the Egyptian will stay with Liverpool this year.

It has been reported that the Saudi Arabian club now feel it is too late to strike a deal with Liverpool to bring Salah to the Middle East.

This will be welcoming news for Liverpool fans around the world as they have been sweating over Salah’s future over the past few weeks.

Salah was on the scoresheet on Sunday as Liverpool recorded a routine 3-0 win over Aston Villa.

After the match, Reds full-back Andy Robertson was asked about the uncertainty surrounding Salah’s future.

The Scotland captain said: “For us we block that out, Mo blocks it out. We let other people talk about that.

“For us there is no concern. For us Mohamed Salah is a Liverpool player and we believe that is what is going to be the case for the foreseeable future.”

Robertson added: “He's the ultimate professional. He does what it does, he is one of the best players in the world and he is professional.

“He lets other people do the talking, lets other people say what they have to say, but he's always been committed to Liverpool and you saw that with this performance He's not been affected, I've been around him a lot and he's not been affected by anything. Mo has reacted in the best way possible and I think you have seen that with his performance, I think he was pretty special.”
