Marc Guehi has spoken out on social media for the first time since his transfer to Liverpool suddenly collapsed on deadline day.
After a three months of dramatic moves, the 2025 summer transfer window officially closed on September 1, meaning clubs will now have to wait until January to sign any new players from another side.
Premier League champions Liverpool were undoubtedly one of the busiest clubs in the market throughout the window, with nine star players joining while Trent Alexander-Arnold, Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez were among the 11 key players to leave.
Their biggest signing came just hours before the window closed as long-term target Alexander Isak completed a British record transfer from Newcastle United for a reported fee of £125million.

But Isak wasn't the only star player set to join on deadline day, as Crystal Palace's Guehi also completed a medical ahead of a move to Anfield before it was all suddenly called off at the last minute.

After reports claimed that an agreement had been reached between Liverpool, Guehi and Palace for the England international to transfer for a reported fee of around £35m, it seemed certain that Guehi would be playing in red this season.
But shortly after the deadline passed, it was revealed that Palace had called off the deal, leaving many fans wondering how Guehi may be feeling after missing out on such a big move.

And it appears he may have finally responded to these feelings as he recently took to his Instagram story to share a series of photos of him training with his England teammates ahead of their upcoming World Cup qualifying match against Andorra.
In the first image, the defender can be seen reuniting with former Palace teammate Eberechi Eze, who recently completed a move to join Arsenal in a £67.5m deal.
Next, Guehi is on the pitch with former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson and Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers, with the final post showing him doing co-ordination training with centre back partner John Stones.

Although the 25-year-old is yet to publicly address the failed move to Liverpool directly, his social media posts suggest that he has at least been able to put the dramatic saga to one side and focus on his upcoming matches with England.
However, it remains possible that Guehi could yet speak out about what exactly happened on deadline day, with some reports suggesting that he was not happy with the outcome and will release a public statement in the near future.
