Manchester United are reportedly looking to make a shock move to sign a Liverpool player.
United and Liverpool have long been historic rivals, with both teams fighting for trophies on multiple occasions.
However, the pair last fought for the Premier League title during the 08/09 season, with the Red Devils, led by Sir Alex Ferguson, finishing four points clear of Rafa Benitez's Liverpool.
Since then, United have enjoyed Premier League success in 10/11 and 12/13.

Meanwhile, Liverpool ended their 30-year wait for a title in 19/20 before winning the Premier League again last season.
Due to the rivalry between the two North West giants, it is extremely rare for players to transfer from United to Liverpool or vice versa.
The last player to do so was back in 1964, when Phil Chisnall moved from Manchester to Merseyside.
However, it has recently been reported that United are eyeing a shock move for a Liverpool player.
According to The Daily Star, the Red Devils are 'weighing up a bid' to sign Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister.
It has been suggested that the Argentine star could leave Anfield in the summer transfer window, with United said to have included him on the list of potential signings.

Mac Allister, 27, impressed during his first season with the Reds under Jurgen Klopp but has struggled to produce his best form this season as Arne Slot remains under huge pressure at Anfield.
So far this season, Mac Allister has only managed three goals and four assists in 37 matches across all competitions for the Reds.
Despite being contracted to the club until the summer of 2028, it has been claimed that Mac Allister could be tempted by an exit.
Aside from Mac Allister, it is believed that United are also keeping tabs on Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton, Brighton and Hove Albion star Carlos Baleba and Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson.
With Casemiro departing Old Trafford in the summer, it is more than likely that United will strengthen their midfield options.
