Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing a move for another Liverpool star after being heavily linked with Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Over the past few months, the future of Alexander-Arnold has dominated headlines as Liverpool aimed to win the Premier League title.

On Sunday, the Reds' dreams came through as they battered Tottenham Hotspur 5-1 at Anfield to seal the deal with four matches left to play.

Ever since that moment, all the attention again switched to Alexander-Arnold, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.

Liverpool owner John W Henry's wife, Linda Pizzuti, sent fans wild with her social media activity as the uncertainty around Alexander-Arnold's future refuses to go away.

The 26-year-old, born and bred in Liverpool, has been widely linked with a free transfer to La Liga giants Madrid, with some reporting the deal is already done.

Moving away from Alexander-Arnold, it has been claimed that Madrid are now targeting another Liverpool star.

As reported by Empire of the Kop, Madrid are 'assessing' Alexis Mac Allister as a potential candidate for the summer as they look to add to their midfield options.

According to the report, Mac Allister is seen as a potential long-term replacement for Luka Modric and Los Blancos are prepared to offer as much as €90 million.

It has been said that the Argentine and his entourage have indicated that he's 'open' to a move to La Liga.

Aside from Madrid, Paris Saint Germain are also suggested to be interested in the 26-year-old midfielder.

As per Fabrizio Romano, Mac Allister said recently: "I read the rumours and the news reaches me, but the important thing is the present.

"I'm fine at Liverpool, I have a lot of respect for the club and I don't think it's necessary to talk about other institutions."

Mac Allister and Liverpool will be back in Premier League action this weekend when they take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
