Coventry City secured their return to the Premier League 25 years after they were relegated from the top flight.
Frank Lampard’s side earned their promotion from the Championship after their 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers.
Fans will be celebrating for several weeks to come, with it likely the club will secure the league title sooner rather than later; however, after the party stops, attention will turn to seeing who the club signs to keep them in the top flight.
Lampard has already secured his first signing for the Premier League campaign, as with promotion it means that one loan deal was made permanent as per the terms of this agreement.

Frank Onyeka will now become a player on the books of Coventry after the promotion, leaving Brentford at the end of the season.

The midfielder joined the club from the Bees at the start of February, and he has been a key presence in the squad since his arrival.
Excitement will now start to build as the club have made their first signing, with many more expected to bolster the squad to give Lampard the tools to keep them in the division next season.
The Coventry manager was emotional after the achievement of getting the club back to the Premier League; he appeared emotional on Sky Sports as he proved the doubters wrong about his managerial ability.
Lampard said: “This is a special night for the football club, which is bigger than all of us.
“It can never be more clear when you see the fans at the end of the game. A club that’s suffered for 25 years in terms of since they’ve been in the Premier League and that journey going down to League Two.
“Credit to everyone involved in those tough years. Mark Robins, of course, he has to have a shout-out. But it’s a massive, massive achievement from everyone involved, and it’s really special.
“I wanted to do it away from home a little bit. I know what it’s like to do it this way; it’s the fans that come all the time, away from home. They’re really dedicated fans and they’re having the night of their lives. It’s what we do this job for.”
