Chelsea forward Liam Delap will reportedly be available for transfer this summer despite signing from Ipswich Town for £30 million in 2025.
Delap, who came through the ranks at Manchester City, impressed with Ipswich during his maiden Premier League season in 2024/25, netting 12 times in 37 appearances for the Tractor Boys, which earned him a move to Chelsea.
In the same summer, the Stamford Bridge club welcomed forwards Joao Pedro, Estevao and Jamie Gittens.
Pedro has impressed in his first season in west London and appears to be top of the pecking order under Liam Rosenior, while Delap has been limited to just 12 starts in the Premier League this term, producing just one goal.

As a result, the 23-year-old, who is contracted to Chelsea until 2031, could move on this summer, with talkSPORT reporting that he is available for transfer amid interest from Eddie Howe’s Newcastle.
The outlet claims that Chelsea see the player as being worth around £40 million, which is £10 million more than what they paid for him last summer.

Delap would compete with Will Osula, Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa for a starting spot in the Magpies side.
Meanwhile, key men Enzo Fernandez and Cole Palmer have both been linked with potential transfers this summer, with the former being linked with a shock move to European champions Paris Saint-Germain.
After Chelsea’s midweek defeat to PSG, which saw them eliminated from the Champions League, Fernandez cast further doubt on his future, saying: "There are eight games left and the FA Cup. There's the World Cup and then we'll see."
Despite the reports and Fernandez's comment, head coach Rosenior insisted that both players were committed to Chelsea when he spoke to the media ahead of his side’s trip to Everton.
“I have a very, very good relationship with the players because we speak all the time,” he said.
“Not just about football, or the situation with their contracts, but about their lives, with their kids, how their kids are, how school is. I have a very, very close relationship with Enzo and with the other players.
"In terms of contracts and where they want to be, there's not one player at this club since I've been here that has said that he doesn't want to be here in the summer.
“In fact, the conversations are more about how we improve, what we can do as a group to improve, what we need to do to win in this moment. And that's where we are at the moment.”
