Chelsea may have already made their decision about sacking Liam Rosenior following their brutal 3-0 loss to Everton.
On Saturday afternoon, Chelsea had the perfect opportunity to significantly boost their chances of qualifying for the Champions League during their Premier League clash with Everton.
Following Liverpool's damaging loss to Brighton earlier in the day, a win at the Hill Dickinson Stadium would have taken the Blues to fourth in the league table with just seven matches to go.
However, a dismal display from Chelsea saw them lose the match 3-0, with two goals from Everton striker Beto and one from Iliman Ndiaye.

Following the result, many fans have called for Chelsea to sack manager Rosenior just months after he replaced Enzo Maresca at the start of the year.
However, it has been reported that this isn't even something that is up for debate at Chelsea at the minute, with a report from TEAMtalk claiming that the club's board remain fully behind their head coach.

The report claims that appointing Rosenior, who is currently under contract with Chelsea until 2032, was not part of the club's original plans heading into the season.
But Maresca's public and dramatic fallout with Chelsea's board in January forced their hands, handing Rosenior a difficult task in getting the club's season back on track.
Because of the circumstances surrounding his dramatic appointment, it is believed that the Chelsea board are aware of the challenges Rosenior has had to deal with, both in terms of implementing tactical ideas and managing a squad made up of another manager's players.
Therefore, rather than panic following four consecutive defeats, Chelsea will stand with Rosenior for the immediate future, with a dismissal ahead of next season believed to be unlikely.
Instead, Chelsea are eager to see how Rosenior will perform after he has been given a full pre-season to properly influence the team, with officials confident that is the correct appointment for the long-term.
Rosenior admits he is still 'learning' amid 'negative noise' surrounding his position
Much like the Chelsea board, Rosenior himself appears to be aware that he still needs more time to fully adjust and implement his vision.
Speaking after the loss to Everton, he admitted that he was still learning about Chelsea but remains confident in how his team has performed despite the poor results.
"I'm learning about this club. It's a massive club. There's been a lot of noise, a lot of negative noise, rightfully so, our performances in the last week," he told Sky Sports.
"We've had 10 games in the league together as a group. We've got 17 points. I think we're fourth in my time. So we have to forget the noise. We have to keep our confidence and our composure."
