Champions League semi-finalists Bayern Munich have reportedly rolled out the red carpet for one of European football’s hottest properties.
Bayern will attempt to overturn a one-goal deficit in the second leg of their tie against Paris Saint-Germain at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, eight days on from the spectacular goalfest of the first leg.
Two of PSG’s goals were scored by Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and reports in Tbilisi indicate that the 25-year-old superstar’s younger brother is a serious target for the Bundesliga giants.
‘Kvaradona’ took Serie A by storm when he signed for Napoli in 2022 and attracted enthusiastic plaudits for his eye-catching performances for Georgia at the European Championship in 2024.

He joined PSG in January 2025 and helped steer Luis Enrique’s side to the Champions League win they craved.
The former Napoli star was 23 years of age when he made the move to Paris and Bayern are understood to be keen to acquire his brother, Tornike Kvaratskhelia, much younger than that.
“Kvaratskhelia flew to Munich, will have a meeting with Bayern officials and visit the club’s facilities as an introduction,” reports iMiaSanMia via La Gazzetta Georgia.
“The 16-year old was included in Dinamo Tbilisi's first team squad for the first time last Saturday. Several other European clubs are also interested.”
Bayern were reportedly interested in the elder of the two before he joined Napoli and even took him on trial before deciding against a deal.
They’re pushing the boat out to steal a march in the race for Tornike, who is already dealing with the inevitable speculation that he might be even better than his brother.
Tornike Kvaratskhelia already has an impressive reputation
A graduate of Inter Milan’s academy in Georgia and now a first team player with Dinamo Tbilisi, he is an attacking player who is highly regarded for his pace and his work off the ball.
He is unable to sign a professional contract with Bayern until his 18th birthday due to a UEFA rule against which Bayern have spoken out in the past.
That will play out in time. For now, the 16-year-old is in demand and in Munich, where Bayern have work to do on the pitch too.
PSG lead 5-4 after the first leg at the Parc des Princes last week and are 90 minutes away from a second consecutive Champions League final appearance in Budapest later this month.
Badri Kvaratskhelia, the father of Khvicha and Tornike, was also a professional footballer.
