Harry Kane 'lined up for sensational reunion with Jose Mourinho as part of major rebuild at elite Champions League club'

Harry Kane could be reunited with ex-Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho in the summer, with the Spurs star ‘seen as the ideal striker.’

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has been linked with a stunning reunion with Jose Mourinho as part of Paris Saint-Germain’s major revamp, according to reports in France.

Kane, 29, is out of contract with Spurs in 2024 and his long-term future at the club has been plunged into doubt, with Manchester United heavily linked with him.

PSG are reportedly keen to undergo a massive rebuild in the summer after failing again in their hunt for the Champions League trophy this season.

Lionel Messi is out of contract with PSG at the end of the season and the 35-year-old Argentine forward has been linked with Barcelona, the MLS and Saudi Arabia.

Neymar’s future in the French capital is also in doubt and PSG are reportedly open to selling the 31-year-old Brazilian winger in the summer window.

Potential departures of Messi and Neymar would leave Kylian Mbappe, who has been heavily linked with Real Madrid, as PSG’s first-choice forward option.

PSG head coach Christophe Galtier is also reportedly on the chopping block after Bayern Munich dumped the Ligue 1 side out of the Champions League this season.

According to French newspaper Le Parisien, PSG have ‘already drawn up their list of targets’ as part of a rebuild at the end of the season.

It is believed that Kane is ‘seen as the ideal striker to lead’ PSG in the new era, and a reunion with former Tottenham manager Mourinho could also be on the cards.

Mourinho made his return to Italy in 2021 after his sacking at Spurs and played an instrumental role in Roma’s recent turn in fortunes.

The 60-year-old Portuguese manager led Roma to the Europa Conference League title in 2022 and the Italian club are currently third in Serie A this season.

Despite potentially leading Roma to Champions League football next season, it is believed that Mourinho would be ‘more than happy to return to an elite Champions League club.’
