Thomas Tuchel Absolutely Lost His Head After Jorginho Mistake, Went Berserk On The Touchline

Thomas Tuchel Absolutely Lost His Head After Jorginho Mistake, Went Berserk On The Touchline

Thomas Tuchel made his feelings known.

Thomas Tuchel lost his temper at Jorginho and went absolutely berserk during Chelsea's FA Cup semi-final tie against Crystal Palace.

The Blues failed to impress in the first half, with Palace getting the better of Tuchel's side - but they didn't take any of their chances.

Chelsea's midfield just couldn't get going, with Jorginho fairly wasteful in the middle of the park.

And Tuchel wasn't impressed with the Italy international during one particular passage of play on Sunday.

The 30-year-old overhit a scoop pass to the frustration of the German boss who gave him a furious dressing down from the touchline.

He scolded Jorginho and gestured in his direction in an intense moment.

Tuchel's reaction to Jorginho's error didn't go unnoticed on social media.

Chelsea turned up in the second half, with Tuchel's team scoring two goals - including a strike from substitute Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

He volleyed home to open the scoring, with Mason Mount doubling their lead 11 minutes later.

The Stamford Bridge outfit will face Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool in next month's FA Cup final.

Speaking after beating Palace 2-0, Tuchel said: "It was not easy because we played three games in three different competitions. It is not always easy, very challenging physically, we are the team with the most minutes in Europe I think, it is also challenging mentally.

"I thought the performance was very controlled and very serious, we took care of their counterattacks. It was hard, the opponent changed system twice, you cannot lose focus for a minute.

"He [Ruben Loftus-Cheek] was very, very strong in matches against Southampton and Real Madrid, he would have deserved to start but we expected a back four. We knew Ruben would have a big impact off the bench. I am very happy.

"He hid his talent and potential for a long time in his career. He is capable of producing performances that everyone sees on the pitch. For him it is step by step that he continues to grow in his confidence."
