Chelsea will face Liverpool in aĀ blockbusterĀ FA Cup final afterĀ beatingĀ Crystal Palace 2-0Ā in the semi-final.Ā

The Blues saw off Palace thanks toĀ second half strikesĀ by substituteĀ Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount.Ā

Loftus-Cheek, who enjoyed a loan spell at Palace in the 2017/18 season, was drafted on by Thomas Tuchel and wasted no time in repaying his manager's faith.Ā

Cesar Azpilicueta interceptedĀ Tyrick Mitchell and played in Jorginho who slid a pass to Kai Havertz.Ā

From there, the German's deflected pass found its way to Loftus-Cheek who smashed aĀ volleyĀ into the back of the net.

The replay shows that his strike took a slight deflection offĀ Joachim Andersen before flying past Jack Butland.Ā

Mount doubled his side's lead after Timo Werner picked him out, with the England international calmly slotting home.Ā

Chelsea's victory over Palace means they'll face Liverpool in next month's final on May 14.Ā

Jurgen Klopp's side booked their spot in the Wembley Stadium showpiece after beating Manchester City 3-2 on Saturday.Ā

Goals from Ibrahima Konate and Sadio Mane (x2) ensured their side's progression to the final.
