Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min has reportedly been offered £100 million to leave the Premier League for Saudi Arabia.

Back in January, Cristiano Ronaldo became the first megastar to move to the Middle East after he signed for Saudi Professional League side Al Nassr.

Since then, Saudi Arabia have been splashing the cash to lure some of football’s biggest stars.

Karim Benzema will be joining Al Ittihad, with the likes of N’Golo Kante, Ruben Neves and Hakim Ziyech also linked with a move to the Middle East.

According to ESPN, Al Ittihad are looking to offer Son a huge contract in a bid to lure him away from Spurs.

It has been claimed that the South Korean superstar has been offered a four-year deal worth £25.6 million per season, meaning he will take home a huge £102.4 million over the course of the contract.

However, it is believed that Spurs are in no mood to listen to offers for the 30-year-old, despite Al Ittihad being confident that Son would be tempted by the offer.

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has also claimed that Spurs have no intention to sell Son. He tweeted: “Tottenham have absolutely no intention to sell Son despite rumours with Saudi clubs. It’s not part of the plans — and they’ve not received any concrete bid at this stage.

“Son looks also determined to continue at Tottenham.”

Son arrived in North London back in 2015 from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, since then, he has made 372 appearances for Spurs, scoring 145 goals and assisting 80.

Back in April, Son claimed that he wants to play at the top level for a few more years.

As per The Mirror, he said: “I will try to keep scoring more goals. I want to go a little bit higher [in the top scorer's list], so I will do my best.

“It's a big honour to have been playing for a few years now at this club. Obviously I'm not really focused to be tied with this goalscoring record, obviously I just want to help the team, but it's a big honour to be compared with Jermain Defoe, who is a Spurs legend and scored so many goals for Spurs. So I think to tie this goal tally makes me hugely proud.”

Son’s teammate, Hugo Lloris said: “Sonny's still the same guy, honestly. The years have gone so fast! He has the same enthusiasm, same positivity, same energy, he just has 100 more Premier League goals.”
