AC MiIan have decided exactly when they will make a call on if they will sign Manchester City star Kyle Walker, as details of his future in the Premier League have been revealed.

After seven-and-a-half years with City, Walker left the club in the January to join Serie A giants AC Milan on loan until the end of the season.

Since arriving at the Italian club, the England international has been met with a mixed reception by fans, putting in some impressive performances despite the fact that his best days appear to be behind him.

With the transfer window set to reopen in June, fans have been questioning where Walker will be playing next season, and a new update has revealed exactly what we can expect from the 24-year-old this summer.

When his move to the San Siro was revealed towards the end of the winter transfer window, Walker confirmed that he had made the call to leave City in pursuit at more regular playing time.

Since then, the 34-year-old has made 12 appearances for Milan across all competitions, becoming an integral part of their defence.

Despite this, a new report from transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the Italian side will wait until they appoint a new sporting director before making a final decision on signing the full-back.

But no matter what happens. Romano has revealed that Walker will not be returning to Manchester City.

Posting on X, the football journalist wrote: "The story between Man City and Kyle Walker will be over in the summer, regardless of AC Milan’s future decision.

"Milan have buy option clause for Walker but decision will follow with new director.

"In any case, Walker will NOT stay at City as they’ll bring in new fullback."

Some reports have claimed that the buy clause included in Walker's loan deal could be as low as €5million (£4.17m), but with his contract expiring at the end of June, they could wait until later in the summer window and sign him as a free agent.

Meanwhile at City, a report from the Daily Mail has claimed that the Premier League side are interested in signing defender Andrei Ratiu from Rayo Vallecano as a replacement for Walker.
