Cristiano Ronaldo's ongoing strike is reportedly set to stop three major signings from happening on deadline day.
Last year, questions were raised regarding Ronaldo's future in football ahead of his contract with Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr expiring in June.
However, with the 2026 World Cup on the horizon, the 40-year-old decided to extend his stay with Al Nassr, signing a two-year extension with the club.
But it appears that the relationship between Ronaldo and Al Nassr is in a bad place, with reports claiming that striker has gone on strike in protest to the recent lack of investment at Al Nassr'.

And it appears that Ronaldo's actions could have a far more significant impact than he may have imagined, as his strike could stop three transfers from taking place before the window closes on Monday evening.

Al Nassr are one of four Saudi Arabian clubs owned by the Gulf state's Public Investment Fund (PIF), alongside Al Hilal, Al Ittihad and Al Ahli.
This means that all four of the clubs are able to put up massive transfer fees and pay huge wages to attract some of the biggest names in football.
For this reason, former Real Madrid star Karim Benzema joined Al Ittihad in June 2023, just months after winning the Ballon d'Or.
But recent reports have revealed that the Frenchman is reportedly feeling 'disrespected' by the club, leading to rumours that he was closing in on a move to fellow PIF-owned club Al Hilal.
However the move has now been halted due to Ronaldo's protest, with the Portugal star arguing that the move would undermine the fair competition in the league given Al Nassr's lack of business in the window.
But it isn't just Benzema's move that Ronaldo is blocking, as the protest is also stopping former Chelsea star N'Golo Kante, who currently plays for Al Ittihad, from joining Fenerbahce in a deal that would see Youssef En-Nesyri go the other way.

According to Turkish journalist Yagız Sabuncuoglu, the three clubs have all finalised the agreements for the moves and submitted them to the Saudi Pro League, and are just waiting on the final approval.
Like the Premier League, the Saudi Pro League transfer window will also shut on Monday, meaning there are just hours for the PIF-Clubs to finalise the deals without continuing to upset the league's star player in Ronaldo.
