Karim Benzema's social media post after knocking Cristiano Ronaldo out of the King Cup of Champions has got fans talking.
On Tuesday, Ronaldo's Al Nassr took on Benzema's Al Ittihad in the round of 16 of the King Cup of Champions.
Thanks to goals by Benzema and Houssem Aouar, Al Ittihad came away 2-1 winners. Angelo Gabriel was on the scoresheet for Al Nassr.
As a result of Al Nassr's latest cup exit, Ronaldo's wait for an official trophy with the club continues, having only won the 2023 Arab Club Champions Cup, which is not recognised by FIFA as an official competition

Speaking after the match, Benzema said: "It was a big game against a very good team. It was not easy to win here because Al Nassr do great today but, from the first minute, we show we want to win this game.
"We did exactly what the coach said before, and we are happy because we showed it’s still here."
Meanwhile, Al Nassr star Sadio Mane stated: "It's part of football; it can happen. It's our first loss, but the season is far from the end. So, we are going to keep going. We're going to stick together to do everything possible to win something."
