Cristiano Ronaldo made a bizarre gesture on the bench after Al Nassr conceded a third and final goal against Al Hilal on Monday night.
Ronaldo put his side 1-0 up in the Riyadh derby in the 42nd minute thanks to an assist from former Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman before Salem Aldawsari levelled matters with a penalty after Malcom had been brought down inside the area.
Goalkeeper Nawaf Alaqidi was sent off for the visitors mere minutes later following an incident with Ruben Neves. Initially shown a yellow card, it was upgraded to red following a VAR review.
Mohamed Kanno then put Al Hilal in the lead nine minutes from time. Ronaldo's compatriot Neves sealed the victory with a second penalty converted for the Saudi Pro League leaders in stoppage time.

Ronaldo was on the bench at this point having been replaced by Jorge Jesus in the 83rd minute and the camera panned to the five-time Ballon d'Or winner. But instead of looking dejected, the Real Madrid legend produced a cryptic gesture where he was spinning his hand and fingers, looking directly at the camera and smiling at the camera as he did.
After the result, Al Nassr are now seven points behind the league leaders after 14 games and look to have conceded the title for another season.

Despite the disappointment, Ronaldo, who joined in a stunning free transfer in 2023, has still been prolific with 16 goals in all competitions, including 14 in the league.

However, it's been a dismal run of form for Ronaldo and the team as Al Nassr are still searching for their first win in 2026 - having lost three games in a row.
The team's last win came against at Al Akhdoud on 27 December. Next up for Ronaldo and Al Nassr is a home game against Al Shabab on 17 January, followed by games against Al Taawoun and Al Kholood.

Ronaldo has extended his stay with Al Nassr until 2027 after penning a new lucrative deal last summer but he looks to miss out on the league title once again.
The Portuguese icon's only bit of silverware at the club is the Arab Club Champions Cup in 2023.
