Lionel Messi has drawn the ire of Paris Saint-Germain ultras following news of his impending exit from the French club.

Just a day after PSG suspended the World Cup winner for an unauthorised trip to Saudi Arabia, reports emerged that the Argentinian was planning on leaving the club at the end of the season.

The news and saga has certainly not landed well with PSG fans who went to the side’s headquarters in numbers to protest.

Footage shows hoards of fans standing outside the HQ chanting ‘Messi, les files de pute’, which translated to ‘Messi, son of a b***h’.

Despite being one of the most beloved players in football, the PSG fans have never truly accepted him as their own.

Messi's unauthorised trip to Saudi Arabia appears to have completely broken the relationship between the player and the club, with a move away in the summer expected.

That's according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who claims Jorge Messi has 'communicated the decision' to PSG.

Romano reported that side Al Hilal have sent in an official bid worth £350 million (A$660m) a year.

If accepted it would make Messi the highest-paid athlete in the world by a long shot, with his arch-rival Cristiano Ronaldo currently holding that mantle.

It’s been a tumultuous couple of days for the Paris side and their relationship with the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner.

However, his PSG teammate Neymar has also copped the brunt of an angry hoard of PSG fans.

Footage captured ultras turning up to Neymar’s house and demanding his departure in shocking scenes.

The video shows hundreds of PSG fans outside the superstar forward's house, chanting: "Neymar, get lost! Neymar, get lost!"

The player himself reacted to the incident on social media. On Instagram, he wrote: "They’ve just left my door."

The Brazilian, who has been at PSG since 2017 following his blockbuster transfer from Barcelona, has been the subject of intense transfer speculation.

He's been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Manchester United and Newcastle United thought to be interested in acquiring his luxurious services.
