The ten highest earners in the Premier League have been revealed.

Spotrac, an online club and player contract resource, has revealed the Premier League’s ten highest earners for the new campaign, with Manchester City players taking up four spots.

Indeed, number one on the list is City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne, who is said to be earning an eye-watering £400,000-a-week salary.

The Belgian midfielder has established himself as one of the Premier League’s greatest-ever players since signing for the club eight years ago, but is set to be absent for a large portion of the current campaign after suffering a recurrence of a serious calf injury.

Meanwhile, fellow treble winner Erling Haaland is the second-highest-paid player in the Premier League, with a reported salary of £375,000-a-week.

The Norwegian is rightfully on one of the division’s most lucrative deals, having netted 52 goals in all competitions in his debut campaign for City last term.

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, who attracted strong interest from the Saudi Pro League in the summer window, and Manchester United midfielder Casemiro, are the joint third-highest-paid players in the Premier League.

The pair are said to be earning some £350,000 a week.

Meanwhile, Casemiro’s United colleague Raphael Varane rounds off the top five, with a reported salary of £340,000 a week. Notably, the France World Cup winner, signed from Real Madrid in the summer of 2021, is the only defender in the entire top ten.

Raheem Sterling, who is one of several players to have endured a tumultuous time since making the move to Todd Boehly’s Chelsea, is in sixth, said to be earning £325,000 a week.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford is seventh on the list, having been rewarded by United with a new five-year contract in July, thought to be worth £300,000 a week.

City duo Jack Grealish and Bernardo Silva are also tied with Rashford on £300,000 a week. Indeed, Silva put pen to paper on a lucrative new deal this summer, having won five Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups and the Champions League in his six years at the Etihad.

Arsenal’s Kai Havertz, who joined the club from Chelsea in a £65million move this summer completes the top 10, with the German said to be on £280,000 a week at the Emirates.
