With a boost to the war chest for 2026/27, following the sale of Elliot Anderson to Manchester City, Nottingham Forest is reportedly making 'movement behind the scenes' to replace manager Vitor Pereira.
Nottingham Forest is reeling from a season of utter turmoil in which they saw four different managers in the dugout.
With input from owner Evangelos Marinakis, the dressing room flipped quicker than any club in Premier League history, bouncing from Nuno Espirito Santo to Ange Postecoglou, Sean Dyche, and Vitor Pereira.
The latter of the managers did what looked to be an impossible feat when he walked through the door, keeping Forest in the Premier League, although it came down to the final few days of the season to secure their status.

Despite keeping Forest up, it looks like Vitor Pereira's days are numbered at Forest, though, as new reports claim that there is 'movement behind the scenes' that will result in his sacking.
Nottingham Forest reportedly moving on from Vitor Pereira
According to Fabrizio Romano, the team 'behind the scenes' at Forest are set to move forward with another manager for 26/27.
"Nottingham Forest and Vitor Pereira could NOT continue together for the upcoming season," he said on X.
"Understand there’s movement behind the scenes at [Nottingham Forest] and Pereira could be gone.
The 57-year-old Portuguese coach earned 17 points in 12 games for Forest to secure their safety, which was a remarkable upturn from his two points in ten games at Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier in the season.
Earlier this year, Marinakis was reported to have only hired Pereira for the end of the season and even identified his successor in former Fulham boss Marco Silva.
That move has now been made impossible, though, as Silva is expected to officially join Benfica in a move that appears to have fit like a glove.
Pereira recently received interest from Al Hilal, having previously operated in the Saudi Pro League for Al-Shabab.
As for who could lead the dugout for Forest next year, Forest previously showed interest in Oliver Glasner, who insisted that his time at Crystal Palace was to come to a close at the end of the season.
Whether Glasner would now take this opportunity is yet to be seen. It was assumed that the Austrian manager would look for an upgrade, having impressed at Palace, but has yet to secure a new role and was overlooked for jobs such as that at Liverpool.
Elsewhere, Premier League-proven managers like Thomas Frank and Liam Rosenior are both without clubs, with Gareth Southgate has yet to find a new home since leaving his England post. There are some other giants on the market if Forest can pull off an Ancelotti at Everton arc of their own, such as Xavi, Massimiliano Allegri, and Antonio Conte.
