Nottingham Forest are on the verge of making Premier League history as they prepare to replace Sean Dyche.
Dyche, who succeeded Ange Postecoglou in October last year, was sacked from his role as head coach on Wednesday night following the club's goalless draw against rock-bottom Wolves.
In total, the 54-year-old spent just 114 days in charge at the City Ground, picking up six wins from 18 games. They currently sit three points above the relegation zone.
It appears Forest are moving quickly to find a replacement for Dyche, with Vitor Pereira being lined up to take the hot seat.

A report from The Athletic suggests the club are in talks with Pereira, who has been out of work since he was sacked by Wolves in November, over becoming their fourth head coach of the season.

When they do make an appointment, Forest will become the first club in Premier League history to have had four permanent managers in a single campaign.
Dyche was the club's third head coach since the start of the 2025-26 campaign. Nuno Espirito Santo lasted until September 9 before Ange Postecoglou was appointed following his departure from Spurs.
Postecoglou took charge of Forest on five occasions in the Premier League, picking up just one point before being dismissed following their 3-0 defeat against Chelsea. He lasted just 39 days in the job.
As per OLBG, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been installed as the early favourite to take over at the City Ground. The former Manchester United manager, who was heavily linked with the interim job at Old Trafford last month, is 6/4 to get the job.
Solskjaer is followed by Marseille boss Roberto De Zerbi (2/1) and Vitor Pereira (3/1), while the likes of Thomas Frank (5/1) and Enzo Maresca (6/1) have also been priced up following their recent dismissals.
Sam Allardyce, meanwhile, is also in the market at 8/1, with betting experts 'factoring in the possibility of a short-term appointment.'

Nottingham Forest are back in action on February 19, when they take on Super Lig side Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
