Liverpool fans are all saying the same thing after they spotted exactly what Mohamed Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai did following their side’s 2-0 win against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

Salah, 32, scored a brace to hand Liverpool all three points on the south coast, with the victory seeing the Reds nine points clear at the top of the Premier League.

However, it was what the Egyptian and his teammate Szoboszlai did after the final whistle that has sent fans into meltdown on social media.

Despite him being on the losing side, Milos Kerkez impressed fans with his work rate and willing attitude during a tough day for Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

Of course, he has been linked with a potential move to Liverpool, as current first-choice left-back Andrew Robertson has come under fire for several mistakes this season.

Salah appeared to congratulate Kerkez, 21, while Szoboszlai, 24, took it one step further by posting a photograph alongside the Cherries man to his Instagram story shortly after the match.

The players are teammates at international level, both representing Hungary despite Kerkez being born in Vrbas, Serbia.

According to the i paper Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United have “started to make contact” with Kerkez’s representatives but it is understood that the left-back would ‘favour’ a move to Merseyside over a potential switch to one of the Manchester-based clubs.

Liverpool may also sport an advantage in the race for the player’s signature as director of football, Richard Hughes, signed the player during his time as technical director at Bournemouth.

It is claimed that Adoni Iraola’s side have “no plans” to sell the defender in the January transfer window but they would be ‘open to offers’ of £50m or above if they were to entertain any potential talks with other clubs.

Nonetheless, Liverpool fans are already excited and gave their thoughts on social media.

One said: "Bring him to anfield."

Another added: "See you next season Mr Kerkez."

A third explained: "100 times better than Andrew Robertson."

While a fourth asked: "Match made in heaven?"

As a fifth commented: Sign him!! We all saw how he tied Szobs in knots in the 2nd half."
