Fantasy Premier League managers on social media have figured out the best transfer plan for the Christmas fixtures.
It's almost Christmas Day which means we are just days away from perhaps the busiest period of the football calendar, with Premier League matches on nearly every day.
The annual tradition of a host of Boxing Day fixtures has been delayed by one day, with Manchester United hosting Newcastle United in the only match taking place on December 26.
However, the remaining 18 teams in England's top-flight will all be in action in the two following days, meaning FPL managers will need to make their plans ahead of the deadline on Boxing Day evening.

But some managers on social media may have already figured out a perfect plan that could lead to a serious amount of points being scored in the coming weeks.

With several key Premier League players leaving their clubs to play for their countries in the Africa Cup of Nations, FPL managers were given a bonus five transfers to fix their teams.
Add to this the fact that managers have just two weeks left to lose their wildcards, or any other chips, and everyone is making plenty of plans regarding changing their teams for the festive games.
One player that has received a lot of attention ahead of the Boxing Day deadline is Liverpool striker Hugo Ekitike who will face Wolves at Anfield on December 27.
With Alexander Isak currently sidelined for several months after sustaining a leg fracture during the win of Spurs, Ekitike's spot in front of Liverpool's attack is assured, making him a perfect long-term option.
But FPL manager Andrew Lawes has figured out an even better plan involving the Frenchman suggesting you hold him for three matches before selling him for Newcastle United striker Nick Woltemade ahead of Gameweek 21.
After a short two-week stint, Woltemade could then be sold for Chelsea's Joao Pedro before finally settling on Brentford striker Thiago from Gameweeks 28-30.
Managers following this plan would secure a striker playing favourable fixtures for a total of 13 matches, with the run being Wolves, Leeds, Fulham, Leeds, Wolves, Palace, West Ham, Wolves, Leeds, Burnley, Burnley, Bournemouth, Wolves.

Of course, no plan ever goes perfectly, with some managers pointing out that both Woltemade and Pedro are not 100% nailed starters for their teams, particularly during such a busy period.
However, if even some of the games go as well as they could do, managers following the plan could secure a second striker that rivals the points output of Erling Haaland, who leads the way this season with a total of 151 points.
