Phil Foden's four-year old son has become a viral sensation in South America

Phil Foden's four-year old son has become a viral sensation in South America

You might think that Man City star Foden is the right person to become a sensation but it's actually son.

Manchester City star Phil Foden has seen his four year-old son Ronnie become a viral sensation in Mexico and South America.

It's quite incredible the amount of success in his career Foden has already had at the age of just 23, 99% of players would want to retire on the kind of numbers he has.

The City star has already won five Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups and now the Champions League, all before reaching a quarter of century.

He's so good that Steven Gerrard believes he will become the 'best player in England' and argued he'd be guaranteed to start for any club in Europe outside of City.

It's not like the England player is doing anything wrong at City, after all he did still start 22 games in the league during the recent campaign, scoring 11 times and assisting his teammates for five goals.

He was part of the celebrations for the league title that saw the players drink an entire city dry and again on Monday evening as Jack Grealish was the star of the show for the trophy parade.

However it's not Phil who is becoming the most popular member of his family across the Atlantic ocean with son Ronnie's popularity on the rise.

One video from a Mexican university showed that a picture of the toddler has been placed in a classroom above a whiteboard, as you can see below.

Videos of the youngster with his dad on the pitch after some of the recent games are said to have earned millions of views on social media.

His son has even been given a nickname, with those who have become besotted with the youngster dubbing him "El Wey," which means 'The Dude' in Spanish.

Videos of Foden's son celebrating winning the Champions League with Erling Haaland and Rico Lewis have also gone viral.

Foden Sr is generally pretty reserved off the pitch but then he and the rest of the City squad can take a backseat to Grealish on these things.

The former Aston Villa captain was in fine form during the trophy celebrations on Monday and got soaked by Haaland with a bottle of Champagne.
