Meet The Lad With The Longest Throw In Football

Meet The Lad With The Longest Throw In Football

Jason Kissi of Godmanchester Rovers has a quite ridiculous throw-in on him and gives Rory Delap a run for his money.

A Non-League player has made Rory Delap's legendary long throw look average with an insane throw-in.

Jason Kissi plays for Godmanchester Rovers, based in Cambridgeshire, and has gone viral on social media for launching the ball into oblivion.

Kissi normally plays with the Under 18's side but recently made the step up to the senior squad, who play in the Thurlow Nunn Premier League.

He was on the bench for the Hinchingbrooke Cup semi-final tie against Potton United last name and ended up making a huge impression.

A clip of the youngster's breathtakingly brilliant throw-in was shared online, amassing 1.2 million views and garnering a whole lot of attention.

In his own half, Kissi had the ball in his grasp and darted forward before hurling the ball miles into the air. The throw was so unbelievably long that it ended up right in the box and in the danger zone.

We don't the exact distance Kissi launched the ball but we're betting it's in Guinness World Record territory.

He's definitely unlocked the giant throw-in trait on FIFA Pro Clubs and gives Stoke City legend Rory Delap a serious run for his money.

Delap's throws were a devastating weapon for Tony Pulis' horrible Stoke City team back in the day and caused absolute chaos in opposition 18-yard boxes.

They were almost impossible to deal with. According to stats, Delap registered five direct assists from throw-ins in the Premier League and it got the point where teams preferred putting the ball out for a corner to avoid the sight of him wiping the ball with his towel and going long.

Arsene Wenger labelled the throw "an unfair advantage."

Kissi has taken the footballing world by storm with his throw and seems to be enjoying it a whole lot judging by his social media activity - even sharing videos of his other throw-ins leading to a goal.

The lad is only 16 years of age and yet he's already developed a rocket launcher of a throw. Be right back, we're off to watch again.
