Arsenal have been linked with a move for Germany wonderkid Noah Darvich - but who exactly is he?
According to CaughtOffside, the Gunners are one of several European giants chasing the young midfielder's signature. However, they face strong competition from the likes of Bayern Munich and PSG.
And another unnamed Premier League club are also in the race for Darvich, who plays his club football at Bundesliga side SC Freiburg.

Arsenal have successfully scoured the English domestic market for young talent in recent years, and brought in left-back Lino Sousa, 17, from West Brom last year.
He trained with the first team last week ahead of their Premier League fixture against Brighton, although missed out on a spot on the bench despite Oleksandr Zinchenko's absence.
If he is signed by Arsenal, Darvich could be the next wonderkid to make his presence felt amongst the first team. Let's have a look at the midfielder in more detail.
Who is Arsenal target Noah Darvich?
At 16 years of age, Darvich currently represents Freiburg's U17 side, where he has scored five goals and provided three assists in eight recorded appearances (via Transfermarkt).

Primarily an attacking midfielder, the Germany youngster is also capable of playing in a deeper role and on the right wing.
Darvich, who is of Iraqi origin, has been playing for Germany U17 in the ongoing European Championships, and scored during their 4-0 win over Portugal earlier this week.
CaughtOffside say that the left-footed player possess 'incredible technical quality' and would 'seamlessly fit into most free-flowing tactical plans' - and is therefore seen as an ideal option for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal to bolster their youth ranks.

But the Gunners would have to wait until the midfielder turns 18, in September 2024, to officially complete a deal due to Brexit laws prohibiting English clubs from signing players below that age.
With a birth date of September 2006, he was born after Germany hosted the World Cup in the same year.
