Ashley Cole is quite possibly England's greatest ever left-back. He has also won three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups during his fruitful spells with Arsenal and Chelsea.

But now, the one thing we think about when Ashley Cole's name pops up (apart from ex wife Cheryl) is his role in that infamous Roma photo.

After joining the Giallorossi, Cole joined up with his new side in pre-season and the squad posed for a team photo in their club gear.

However, as we all know, Cole's positioning in the picture was utterly bizarre and saw him at the very end of the squad photo looking like a bit of a loner, shades of when you are out with your mate sees, they see someone they know and you stand there not really knowing what to do.

Cole's part in the photo quickly became an internet meme and saw him photoshopped in just about every location and situation possible.

And with the LA Galaxy man being back in England to provide analysis on Crystal Palace-Chelsea, we thought it would be worthwhile revisiting an interview he did with Tubes from SoccerAM back in August, where he explained the Roma photo that went viral.

Watch it here:

We're just waiting for him to do the same pose in the Sky Sports studio.
