Lionel Messi Names Four Premier League Players In His Top 15 Young Prospects In Football

Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has identified four Premier League players who he believes are on course to be future stars in world football.

The 32-year-old Argentine forward's picks were revealed as part of Topps' Champions League cards, which were designed by Messi.

The cards included the 'Greatest Moments' of his career and his picks for 'Top Talents' and 'Youth on the Rise.'

Messi named Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold amongst his 15-man list, saying he is "impressive going forward" and branded him the "future."

Joining Trent on the list includes Chelsea duo Christian Pulisic and Mason Mount, while Manchester City starlet Phil Foden is the final pick from the Premier League.

Messi said that the 19-year-old midfielder, who Pep Guardiola called the most talented player he has ever seen, would do "amazing things" in football.
