Romelu Lukaku has currently ruled out a move to Manchester City after Trevor Sinclair asked him about his interest in signing for the "blue half of Manchester."

The 28-year-old Inter Milan striker was in sensational form last season as he scored 30 times in 44 appearances across all competitions.

And Lukaku's excellent goalscoring form fired Inter to their first Serie A title in 11 years.

The Belgian star, who is under contract with Milan until 2024, has been heavily linked with a sensational return to Chelsea.

Pep Guardiola is expected to reinforce his attacking options this summer after the departure of City legend Sergio Aguero to Barcelona on a free transfer.

City have been linked with wantaway Tottenham striker Harry Kane and Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland in their bid to replace Aguero.

During a Twitter Q&A on Wednesday, ex-City winger Sinclair did not pass up the opportunity to ask Lukaku about the idea of moving to the Premier League champions.

Responding to the question, Lukaku simply tweeted: "I am happy at Inter."

Lukaku, who is currently starring for Belgium at Euro 2020, spent two seasons at Manchester United after his initial £75m move from Everton in 2017.

The Belgium international scored an impressive 42 times in 96 appearances during his spell at Old Trafford.

However, Lukaku was sold to Inter in a £74m deal in 2019 after he was axed from United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's plans.
