Manchester United fans are buzzing after seeing Amad Diallo's impressive debut cameo last night.

After excelling in the Under 23 side following his £37 million move from Atalanta, the 18-year-old was named on the bench for United's 4-0 win over Real Sociedad in the Europa League round of 32 first leg.

The winger replaced Mason Greenwood in the second half and Diallo was incredibly bright during his 12 minutes on the pitch.

He didn't misplace a pass and completed 3/3 dribbles - which is more than any other forward who was involved in the game.

A compilation from his cameo was quickly created and uploaded onto Twitter in next-to-no-time, with fans loving the confidence from Diallo.

One passage of play in particular saw him display incredibly quick feet to jink in between two players and draw a foul near the touchline - and you get the impression he's a player he just loves beating players.

Diallo has been involved in first-team training in recent times and will now be hoping for even more minutes in the coming months after getting a taste.

United legend Paul Scholes likes the look of him and wants to see more from the youngster.

Speaking on BT Sport, Scholes said: "We didn't see much of him tonight.

"He looks a talented player. I watched the Under-23s last week. He scored a goal and made a couple of goals.

"He's got unreal talent, a nice left foot. Is he quick? I'm not too sure I haven't seen that yet.

"Creative player, very young at 18. Give him time and hopefully he can do."

Meanwhile, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees Diallo slotting into his squad on the right flank, giving the team a different option for the role.

"That's his preferred position," the United boss said.

"He is good at finding space, he can go inside and outside and he will get the time to prove that he is the one.

"Along the way we have got Mason, Marcus [Rashford], Daniel [James], Juan [Mata] and Paul [Pogba] has played there, so we have options but I think when you look at the squad and you look at Amad and you think, yeah, that's probably where we will work to fit you in."
