Bursaspor's 'Crocodile Arena' Stadium Is One You'll Need To Visit

Introducing your new favourite stadium...

Bursaspor's 'Timsah Arena' stadium is officially our new favourite.

The standard of modern stadiums is very good in the current climate but the Turkish Super Lig's home ground is different gravy and has had everyone waxing lyrical about it on social media.

The design of the 43,331 capacity arena, which opened back in 2015, is literally one big fuck off crocodile and it's absolutely incredible.

You might think that Bursaspor are just massive fans of Lacoste and the clobber they produce but there is in fact a reason why their stadium is crocodile-inspired.

'Timsah' means crocodile in the Turkish language and Bursaspor's nickname is 'The Green Crocodiles' - hence the spectacularly innovative design. Just imagine turning up to play there, or even being outside to watch your team play. It's something else.

I'm already considering booking flights to see the work of art in the flesh on May 13 when Bursaspor hosts Trabzonspor in their final home game of the season. But beyond that, I'm starting a petition for EA Sports to include it on FIFA 19.

EA have the rights to the Turkish Super Lig so there's no reason why they shouldn't bring it in for next year's game. Every man and his dog will have it as their stadium on Ultimate Team but it will be all be worth it.
