The teenager has been called up to training.

15-year-old wonderkid Amir Ibragimov was spotted in first-team training ahead of Manchester United's clash against Aston Villa.

The Red Devils host Unai Emery's side in a battle for Champions League qualification on Sunday afternoon.

Erik ten Hag's side are currently in fourth place in the Premier League, but have the chance to go third with a win over the West Midlands side.

Meanwhile, Villa are in sixth place following a remarkable 10-game unbeaten run, and plotting a late surge to finish inside the top four.

In preparation for the contest, Ten Hag has called up talented winger Ibragimov to training.

Who is Ibragimov?

Ibragimov was born in Dagestan, Russia, before moving to England with his family at the age of eleven.

The teenager started his footballing career at Sheffield United's academy, but was soon poached by Manchester United where he has gone on to captain both the under-14 and under-15 sides

Ibragimov has also turned out for England's under-15 side, but is still eligible to play for Russia's national team.

His older brother, Ibragim, is a professional MMA fighter, while younger brother, Gazi, also plays within United's academy setup.

Ibragimov committed his immediate future to the club last year, with Ten Hag seemingly keen to see how he fares in the first-team.

The winger took to social media to share the news, posting a picture of his boots on Instagram accompanied by the caption: '1st team session' and a tick emoji.

He had reportedly been attracting serious interest from Europe's elite clubs but chose to extend his stay at Old Trafford, signing his pre-scholarship forms.

Subsequently, he will stay with United until he is able to agree a professional deal when he turns 17.

United were allegedly keen to tie the player down to a long-term deal, viewing him as one of the most highly-rated players in the club's academy system, according to the Manchester Evening News.
