"Really crazy" - Jurgen Klopp reveals Mo Salah has a new trick up his sleeve ahead of Man United game

Liverpool's Mo Salah has a new skill ahead of the Man United game

Jürgen Klopp has revealed Mo Salah has added a useful new attribute to his game ahead of Liverpool’s trip to Manchester United tonight.

According to the German tactician, his star forward has returned from the summer break with a much better weak foot.

Klopp disclosed to Sky Sports “I think he [Salah] found a right foot on holiday.”

“He always develops. It’s really crazy, I know a few years back he arrived and usually when a player comes from outside inside, they use the inside of the foot.”

“This year when he arrived with crosses with his right foot. He’s obviously a top professional and he really tries to add on things into his game.”

He continued by asserting his belief that “Salah is a top, top, top striker and with the numbers he had, not only scoring-wise but assisting-wise as well, it’s big.”

Liverpool fans will be hoping Salah’s new-found skill will be exemplified to them when their side travel to Old Trafford.

The Reds have had a rocky start to the season, picking up just 2 points from the first 2 fixtures.

Goals haven’t been easy to come by either, and Salah will need to find his shooting boots if Liverpool are to keep up with Manchester City in the title race.

The necessity for Salah to score goals will only grow further in the coming weeks with Darwin Nuñez serving a 3-match ban after being sent off against Palace last week.

And there is very much an onus on Salah to be Liverpool’s main talisman this season.

Without his partner in crime Sadio Mané up front with him, the Liverpool front line does lack a bit of experience.

And as Liverpool’s most important forward, and highest paid ever, the Egyptian needs to make sure Mané’s absence isn’t felt too profoundly.

But if he really has come back to Liverpool this season with a vastly improved right foot, Premier League defences could be in all sorts of trouble in the coming weeks.
