Barcelona fan trolled the Manchester United supporter.

A Manchester United fan hilariously got his comeuppance after he taunted Barcelona supporters following the game on Thursday.

The Europa League play-off first-leg between Barca and Man United delivered the goods as they played out a thrilling 2-2 draw.

Marcos Alonso opened the scoring, with Marcus Rashford continuing his fine form in front of goal by levelling moments later.

The visitors then took the lead when Jules Kounde scored an own-goal. Former Leeds United winger Raphinha hit back after his cross found its way into the back of the net.

The thousands of fans inside the Camp Nou were treated to an instant classic and some of them also witnessed a comedic moment of gold.

A video online shows a Man United supporter taunting Barca fans as they left the ground, banging on the barricade.

That was until one Barca fan leant over and stole the supporter's bucket hat, before running off.

The exchange between the fans got people online talking.

One Twitter user wrote: "Manchester United fans getter owned wherever they go."

A second tweeted: "Man United fan at Barcelona last night Bye bye bucket hat."

A third added: "Man was so embarrassed by that trim he tried to cover it with his shirt."

We very much doubt that he got his hat back so count it as a lost.

Erik ten Hag, meanwhile, believes his side 'outplayed' the La Liga outfit and was even disappointed that they didn't score in the first-half.

"I think we dictated the game. Apart from maybe 15 minutes of the first half, we had some difficulties, but for the rest, we dictated the game and we outplayed [them], so many chances, so I was a little bit disappointed that in half-time it was 0-0 because we should have scored," he said.

"The opportunities they had, we created by ourselves. But I think it was a great game, two attacking teams, I think it was really Champions League [level] and even more than that. So, I really enjoyed the game a lot. In the end, 2-2, and we have to finish it at Old Trafford."

Barca and Man United will renew hostilities next Thursday in the second-leg at Old Trafford.
