Victor Lindelof has been named by the police as the man who saved an elderly woman having her bag stolen from a thief in Sweden. The Manchester United defender chased down the thief while the assailant was cycling away.
Manchester United had the third-best defence in the Premier League this season. With their new additions of Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, United paired those two with Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw to create a wall that was only ever let down by the shakiness of David De Gea.
Even though Lindelof was a very important player this season for United, being the only player to not be dribbled past in the Premier League, he carried it over off-the-pitch after he stopped a thief in his tracks from stealing a bag from an elderly woman in Sweden.
:flag_se: :x: Victor Lindelof was the only Premier League CB not to be dribbled past this season. An incredible stat.

Lindelof was in Västerås, Sweden on Monday morning when a woman in her 90s had her bag stolen from a man riding on a bike. The Swede, nicknamed Iceman, chased the cyclist down on foot, apprehended the thief and kept him contained for the next five minutes until police arrived.
Maja, Victor's wife witnessed the incident at 10:40 AM while her husband detained the man.

"The police want to take the opportunity and thank the witness for a quick and wise intervention to restore the plaintiff's property ," the Västerås police said.
Manchester United have commented on the situation saying:
"Victor feels that he just did what anyone else would have done in that situation."
