Real Madrid have put forward an offer worth €120 million (£104m) for one of Liverpool's top performers, according to a report in Spain, after Xabi Alonso 'specifically requested' his signing.
Los Blancos are in the market for a central midfielder, with Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez and Paris Saint-Germain's Vitinha being considered by the Spanish giants alongside Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton.
As well as the above, AZ Alkmaar's Kees Smit, 19, has caught the attention of Madrid scouts, according to AS.
The publication also names Alexis Mac Allister as someone who is being considered, but a separate report from Spain has identified another Liverpool midfielder as someone of interest.

In fact, Madrid have already submitted a proposal worth €120 million (£104m) for Ryan Gravenberch, a player their sporting management believes has 'all the qualities to lead the team's new era', as per Fichajes.

"His physical strength, technical skill, and competitive maturity explain a commitment that extends far beyond the short term," the report adds. "Real Madrid particularly value his ability to adapt to different roles."
The big-money proposal for Gravenberch, whose Liverpool contract runs until 2028, has sent 'shockwaves' through the Premier League club. They had no intention of letting him leave but the offer has reportedly forced them to 'reconsider their options'.
Xabi Alonso, meanwhile, is said to be pushing the move. The Spaniard believes he is a perfect fit for his system and 'specifically requested' that the club try and strike a deal.
Madrid will need to move quickly if they want to sign Gravenberch, with Liverpool planning to open contract talks with the Netherlands international, according to a recent report from The Times.
Although no formal discussions have taken place so far, the Reds are eager to tie the 23-year-old down to a new deal.

Gravenberch, who was one of Liverpool's standout performers last season as they lifted the Premier League title, continues to play a key role under Arne Slot, making 27 appearances in all competitions this season.
