The Spanish press have delivered their verdict on Marcus Rashford after Barcelona were thrashed 4-1 by Sevilla in La Liga.
The Catalan giants suffered their first league defeat of the season in what proved to be a disappointing away performance from Hansi Flick's side. Despite the loss, Rashford continued his encouraging form by scoring his first league goal for Barcelona.
The England international had already provided three assists in La Liga and impressed in the Champions League with a brace against Newcastle. But his goal on Sunday will have come as a relief as his first in the league.
It was a well-taken effort from Rashford who fired home a left-footed volley from Pedri's cross. His goal just moments before the half-time whistle brought Barcelona back into the game at 2-1 down, but they were unable to build on that in the second half.

Despite the defeat, Rashford received praise from the Spanish media for his continued progress.

Mundo Deportivo wrote: "On an individual level, Rashford continues to rise.
"He has started six of the last seven matches (only missing the Getafe game due to being late, although he played the entire second half) and in all seven he has been directly involved in a goal, either scoring or assisting.

"The Englishman is increasingly displaying confidence and commitment."
The recognition comes after questions were asked about how Rashford would adapt to Flick's tactical approach following a mixed loan spell at Aston Villa under Unai Emery. Flick, who guided Barcelona to a domestic treble last season is known for his high-pressing football with a high defensive line.

Ferran Martinez of Mundo Deportivo continued: "His ability to adapt to Hansi Flick's system has been one of the most positive aspects of recent weeks, despite the fact that the team, which has suffered two consecutive defeats, is not in his favour."

However, not everyone in the Barcelona camp was happy with the forwards.
Young defender Pau Cubarsi appeared to criticise the forwards' work rate, something Rashford was often accused of during his time at United.
He said: "These chances are coming from the front, we have to start pressing like last season.
"We have to relax, and this can't happen.

"It's a game, and there's no need to beat a dead horse, but it's also a turning point."
Rashford has once again been included in Thomas Tuchel's England squad for the upcoming international fixtures against Wales and Latvia.
When he returns from international duty, Barcelona will host Girona and Olympiacos, before facing Real Madrid in his first El Clasico at the Bernabeu.
