Hansi Flick completely lost it with his Barcelona players moments after they secured La Liga title

Barcelona won La Liga with a 2-0 victory at Espanyol - but Flick wasn't happy with something at full-time.

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick was left furious with his own players after their 2-0 win over Espanyol - despite them securing the La Liga title.

Barca went into the evening knowing that they needed three points to secure the league title with two games to spare.

The first half of the match was overshadowed by a major incident outside the RCDE Stadium, with a white car driving into a group of spectators.

A total of 13 injuries were reported by Spanish medical authorities, with four of those described as being in a 'less serious condition'.

The match itself was briefly stopped on eight minutes to allow the referee to converse with police, but was restarted two minutes later.

It took Barcelona until the second half to take the lead over their fierce rivals through Lamine Yamal's superb 20-yard strike into the top corner.

The 17-year-old then set up Fermin Lopez to make it 2-0 in the fifth minute of stoppage time.

Immediately after the full-time whistle, there was a mass altercation between players and technical staff from both sides at the RCDE Stadium.

Barca boss Flick walked on to the stadium and was visibly furious at his players, with the German even seen shoving two of his players towards the tunnel area.

Les Cules also won the La Liga title at Espanyol two years ago, but the victory preceded much uglier scenes than the ones that were witnessed on Thursday night.

Espanyol fans invaded the pitch and confronted Barca stars, while there were also confrontations between both sets of players.

Speaking ahead of Thursday's clash, Flick told reporters in Spain: "I saw what happened two years ago on television. Whatever needs to be done, always with respect. You have to fight for the three points, and then we'll do what's right."
