Gary Neville is said to be ‘staggered’ that Manchester United have refused to sell one player.
United were held to a 1-1 draw with West Ham on Thursday night as they were unable to follow up their 2-1 win at Crystal Palace on Sunday with another victory.
Diogo Dalot had fired United ahead in the 58th minute, but couldn’t add a second and were dealt a hammer blow as West Ham equalised with seven minutes to play through Soungoutou Magassa.
The result means United have won only one of their last five league matches, having been held to draws with Nottingham Forest, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United, while they fell to a surprise 1-0 loss to 10-man Everton last week.

Shaw criticised by Neville after Everton loss
And Neville was scathing in his review of Shaw in the home reverse, accusing the former Southampton man of ‘ambling’ as United looked to push forward.
“You have Shaw, [Leny] Yoro and [Matthijs] De Ligt behind the ball. Shaw is getting forward more, but he's ambling forward, let's be clear. He's been bugging me for the last 20 minutes. He's ambling. You can't do that,” Neville said on co-commentary in the Everton clash last month.

“He should be running forward every single time. I don't care. Yoro, I have a little bit more sympathy for but Shaw? That's a waste of time. I don't care. It's not conning anybody. I'm not having it.”
Per The Sun, Neville is said to be 'staggered' Shaw remains at the club despite liking him on a personal level.
Shaw recently made his 300th appearance for United, but has missed more games than he has played for the Manchester giants.
Irwin sticks up for MUFC left-back
Another former United defender has come to the defence of Shaw, however, insisting that the England international was ‘brilliant’ against Palace.
“He has been blighted with injuries, Luke, but I’ve got to say every manager, when he is fit, has picked him,” ex-United left-back Dennis Irwin said on the Inside Carrington podcast.
“He has started every Premier League game this season so that tells you that Ruben is definitely backing him. He was brilliant [against Palace] and his recovery in a couple of tackles was needed by the way and particularly in the first half.
“It suits him to play in that left centre-half. We know he can play the wing-back role, but relating it myself, I would have been more comfortable in that left centre-back role rather than being a wing-back. He has been fantastic for us this season.”
Man Utd looking to return to winning ways
United’s recent dip means they head into the weekend’s action in eighth place, though they are just two points off the top four.
Ruben Amorim takes his men to Molineux on Monday night as Wolves look to claim a first league win of the season.
Wolves sit bottom of the Premier League following the opening 14 matches having collected just two points so far, those coming in draw with Spurs and Brighton.
