Fulham star's cryptic Instagram post goes viral after three losses in a row under Alvaro Arbeloa

Fulham star Kevin has left fans concerned over a cryptic Instagram post following three consecutive Premier League losses to start the season.

Kevin, who signed to Fulham from Shakhtar Donetsk last September in a deal worth nearly £35 million, posted the Instagram story on Saturday evening.

The Brazilian, who is the Cottagers’ joint-transfer record signing, uploaded an image alongside the words: "No speak, no hear, no see."

Elsewhere, Alex Iwobi's current Instagram page shows only three photos, none related to Fulham, and a bio containing nothing but '17' — his shirt number. It is unclear as to whether the 30-year-old made this change in recent days, with many Fulham fans claiming it occurred months ago.

Fulham struggling after difficult Premier League start

Fulham supporters have witnessed a winless start to the Premier League season, having taken zero points from a possible nine in their opening fixtures.

Their term began with a 3-2 loss at Craven Cottage to Chelsea, which they followed up with a 1-0 defeat on the road at Sunderland.

On Saturday, the Cottagers saw their third loss in three against London rivals Crystal Palace, falling 3-2 after a late Ben Chilwell hammer sealed victory for the Eagles.

Kevin began all three clashes on the bench for Fulham, playing a combined total of 29 minutes. Against Crystal Palace, the Brazilian did not appear.

He made 26 appearances for Fulham in the Premier League last term, playing 1037 minutes. He hit just one goal, and paired it with a solitary assist.

The 23-year-old outperformed those statistics in just two FA Cup games for the Cottagers, recording two goals and one assist in 180 cup minutes.

In contrast, Iwobi started all three matches, playing 263 minutes of an available 270. He has failed to register a single goal contribution so far this term for Fulham.

Some Fulham fans ironically cheered when he was substituted in the second half of the Palace defeat.

What Fulham fans make of Kevin's social media post

When questioned online as to what Kevin’s story meant, one Fulham supporter clarified: “He’s been benched in all of our league games so far this season, I assume it’s about that, but [I’m] not sure.”

Another followed up: “He was also benched for most of our games last season because he’s not that good,” prompting discussion about the Brazilian’s goal contributions last term.

“1 goal and [1] assist in the PL last season doesn’t earn you the ability to start making cryptic IG posts,” one fan stated plainly.

“Early signs [are] that things aren’t looking good,” confessed one Cottagers fan. “[We’ve] moved on from many senior players, and bet on a totally unproven manager.”

“Arbeloa has to tighten up that defence, or he’ll get gone very quickly,” chimed in another fan.
