arlo Ancelotti is intent on bringing three of the best players in the world to The Bernabéu next summer.

They are PSG's Kylian Mbappé, who the Spanish giants were close to securing on Deadline Day, Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland and Manchester United playmaker Paul Pogba.

That's according to the Spanish sports newspaper Marca. They suggest that Mbappé will join once his contract at PSG expires next June and that Haaland will follow suit, as he is keen on a move to the club.

The article also claims that a transfer involving Pogba is 'possible', despite the fact he is older than the profile of player Ancelotti and his staff are looking to invest in. Like Mbappé, the former Juventus star's contract expires in 2022.

Whilst the signing of Haaland would bring some much-needed firepower to Madrid, the arrivals of Mbappé and Pogba would certainly improve the side's chemistry, as the pair are teammates for the French national team.

The duo both scored in the 2018 World Cup and are currently on international duty together, with Pogba finding Mbappé with a sublime pass during last night's World Cup Qualifier with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Real Madrid made it no secret that they were desperate to sign the latter this summer. Admitting he was a 'great player', Ancelotti launched two bids for the player, one on Deadline Day in excess of £170 million, but PSG did not budge.

And while no bids for Haaland and Pogba were made, speculation has and continues to surround both players' futures. As reported by The Daily Star, Spanish journalist Siro Lopez told viewers on Twitter last month that there is a 'pre-agreement' between Madrid and Dortmund for the Norwegian striker to join them next year.

Moreover, The Manchester Evening News have reported this morning that Madrid president Florentino Perez has told United of their plans to take Pogba to the club in the next 12 months or so.

With a world-class manager at the helm and a younger, more dynamic team than we've seen in recent years, Real Madrid seems like the perfect place for this outstanding trio to continue their football next year.
