Cristiano Ronaldo validated eight notes for Portugal manager Jorge Jesus to read out in his press conference.
Ronaldo left Portugal's camp on Wednesday (September 30) after Jesus decided against playing him during their 2-1 Nations League victory over Norway.
The 41-year-old released a statement confirming his departure after holding clear-the-air talks with the manager and Portuguese Football Federation president Pedro Proença.

Cristiano Ronaldo validated eight notes for Jorge Jesus to read in a press conference
In a social media post, Ronaldo said he would detail "the reasons" that motivated him to leave the training camp.

That bombshell statement was then dropped on Tuesday (October 6), when the Al-Nassr forward said the main issue was Jesus telling him he would not be part of the travelling cohort for the trips to Norway and Denmark.
Ronaldo rejected that stance as "it would not set a good example" for his teammates and then confirmed that he was asked to consider retiring from international football before issuing an apology to the "Portuguese people".
The 1,740-word statement also featured eight notes that he "validated" for Jesus to say in his press conference, and those were:
"1. I myself, and no one else, proposed to Cristiano a plan for him this sporting season with the National Team. It was a long and very good conversation.
“2. I know how much he lives and loves the national team and the weight he has in the world, and even more the weight and the positive influence he has had on the national team for 24 consecutive years.
“3. The plan I proposed to Cristiano was accepted.
“4. He never questioned my options. He was exemplary, loyal and professional.
“5. The match in Norway was not part of the plan I drew up for him. However, I felt that he had managed to recover physically from the first match and I warned him that I might have to use him. Cristiano agreed.
“6. I made a mistake by putting someone of the stature of Pelé or Maradona on to warm up and then not putting him in the game. If it were today I would not do it.
“7. To close the subject: I want Cristiano in the National Team. In fact, I do not want him a little, I want him a lot. Fortunately, he also believes in me. He believed at Al Nassr and he does here as well.
“8. About not greeting the fans. We have already spoken about that. Someone who has played more than 230 matches for the national team does not receive lessons from me on love for Portugal. It was a moment of frustration that erases nothing."

Luka Modric wants Cristiano Ronaldo to return for farewell match
Ronaldo's actions will never tarnish what he's achieved across a glittering Portugal career, but this is a potentially heart-breaking ending for arguably one of the greatest players ever.
In fact, Ronaldo could face the prospect of a ban ranging from one to six months, as FPF disciplinary regulations state that leaving the national team's camp can result in harsh punishments.
A lengthy ban could derail any chances of him repairing a broken relationship with Jesus and playing in a farewell match.
Lionel Messi did just that on Tuesday night, as he scored on his final game for Argentina after announcing his retirement at the end of August, 21 years on from his debut.
Ronaldo's former teammate at Real Madrid, Luka Modric, wants him to have a similar send-off by returning to Portugal while urging the nations federation to find a "solution" to the ongoing rift between player and manager.
Speaking after Croatia's Nations League defeat to Spain, the 41-year-old said: "No, no, I haven’t spoken to him. It’s difficult for me to say anything because I don’t know exactly what happened. I haven’t followed the situation too closely because I have my own problems here.
"It’s sad to see this happening to him in his own country. I don’t know exactly what happened, but I hope the situation gets resolved. Because Cristiano is the greatest player in the history of Portugal, and he deserves another farewell and another ending with the national team."
"Still, I think they will find a solution, because Cris deserves, whether he retires or decides not to continue with the national team, to have a great farewell that reflects what he deserves," he added.
Modric shared the pitch on 222 occasions with Ronaldo at Real Madrid and unsurprisingly wants his former teammate to resurrect a fairytale ending.
