Cristiano Ronaldo has been handed an official punishment following his shocking clash with Portugal manager Jorge Jesus.
Following Jesus' decision to bench Ronaldo for Portugal's 2-1 Nations League win over Norway, the legendary striker furiously stormed out of the national camp, later releasing a damning 1,740-word statement criticising the 'broken promises' that had been made to him.
Ronaldo later admitted that he wanted to return to the Portugal team and would accept a punishment to do so, and now he's learned exactly what that punishment will be.

Portuguese Football Federation confirm Cristiano Ronaldo punishment
After claiming that Jesus had broken a promise to let him play during the match against Norway, Ronaldo left Portugal's training camp ahead of the clash with Denmark.

Although he apologised for his actions, the behaviour led to the Portuguese Football Federation confirmed that formal disciplinary proceedings had been opened, with Ronaldo suspended until a final punishment was decided.
And now, it's been revealed that the federation has decided on a 30-day suspension and a €255 (£222) fine.
Given the fact that he reportedly earns a basic salary of £178million a year at Al Nassr — approximately £3.42m a week or £488,000 a day - the fine doesn't appear to be something that will bother Ronaldo too much, while it suggests the federation won't hold a grudge for his actions.
"In these terms and with the grounds set forth, the Disciplinary Council of the Portuguese Football Federation decides, in the present proceedings, to consider the accusation fully justified and, consequently, to condemn Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro for the commission, on one occasion and intentionally, of the disciplinary infraction foreseen and sanctioned by paragraph 1 of article 160 of the RDFPF, applying to him, consequently, the sanction of suspension for 30 (thirty) days and, additionally, the sanction of a fine that is set at 2.5 UC, that is, €255.00 (two hundred and fifty-five euros)," the sentence confirmed.
The decision means that Ronaldo will once again be available for selection during the next international break, set to take place in mid-November.
During this break, Portugal are set to play against Denmark on November 14, and Wales on November 17.

Will Cristiano Ronaldo play for Portugal again?
Of course, it remains possible that, despite expressing an interest to return to the Portugal team ahead of getting the punishment, Ronaldo may choose to retire from international football following the public fallout.
"After my suspension period ends, I will be available, as I always have been, to compete and win with our national team," Ronaldo wrote in his lengthy statement.
But, shortly after his sister, Elma Aveiro, appeared to suggest that this may not be the case.
"It's more likely a no than a yes," Aveiro said when asked if Ronaldo would ever represent his country again.
"I think both [Cristiano and Jorge Jesus] are hurt; it was a situation they experienced, not me, I'm speaking for my brother.
"I think it's a situation that's stalled, we'll see what happens."
