Two-time world darts champion Luke Littler has shocked former Manchester United midfield general Paul Scholes by explaining where he spent the first of his winnings.
Littler won the World Darts Championship for the first time in 2025, beating Michael van Gerwen in the final at Alexandra Palace in London, and promptly bagged a £500,000 share of the tournament prize money.
EA Sports made a few quid off him that night, according to 'The Nuke'.

Littler is young enough that he means EA FC when he says 'FIFA', a stark reminder of the passage of time even for people younger than Scholes.
"After the first world championship I just went on to FIFA and just spent a load of money," said Littler, who was asked to explain by the former Man Utd and England midfielder, who understandably had no concept of spending money inside a video game.
"Just like going into Ultimate Team and yeah, just build a better team. Spend money, get better players and then play online.
"You can spend thousands... and then when the next FIFA comes out, you've got to do it again."
Scholes was surprised by the extent of the money that can be frittered away on Ultimate Team and had something a little more wholesome to offer as his own answer to the same question.
"I actually bought my mum and dad a house, said Scholes.
"Not like a big house or anything."

Littler is gearing up for another World Darts Championship defence
The 19-year-old is now only a couple of months away from an attempt to join Van Gerwen and Phil Taylor as the only men to have won three or more WDC titles and the first since Taylor's extraordinary era of domination to win it three years in a row.
Littler is currently ranked number one in the world, having followed his second win at the worlds with victories in the World Masters, UK Open, Premier League Darts and World Matchplay this year.
His World Youth Championship tilt went by the wayside this week thanks to a semi-final loss against fellow Englishman and world number 68 Cam Crabtree, who later referred to Littler as 'the best in the world'.
Born in Warrington, teenager Littler is a fanatical supporter of Man Utd. On the day he was born, Scholes played 90 minutes alongside current Red Devils head coach Michael Carrick in a 2-1 defeat at Arsenal.
Podcast co-host Nicky Butt had departed United three years earlier.
