Maximilian Ibrahimovic, the teenage son of former Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimovic, is in talks to join another one of his father's former clubs, according to reports.
The 19-year-old forward, who joined AC Milan from Hammarby IF in 2022, has been in superb form for Milan Futuro, the club's reserve side.
Across his 16 appearances in Serie D this season, Ibrahimovic Jr has notched five goals and four assists - a run of form that earned him a first senior call-up in December.
He was one of six players from Milan's reserve team who travelled to Saudi Arabia for their Italian Supercoppa clash against Napoli.

"They have good skills," said Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri ahead of kick-off. "I wanted to reward them for what they are doing in training."

Maximilian is currently at Milan alongside Zlatan, who accepted the role of Senior Advisor to AC Milan's Ownership and Senior Management in 2023.
But the youngster may not be at the San Siro for much longer, as his father's former club Ajax are keen on an initial loan deal with an option to buy, according to Dutch publication Telegraaf.

The report suggests the Eredivisie side are currently 'working on the arrival' of Ibrahimovic Jr, with the plan being that he trains with the first team while playing for Jong Ajax, the club's reserves.
Maxillian has engaged in discussions with several clubs in the Netherlands, but is said to prefer Ajax.
"They (Ajax) are currently exploring the possible form of the partnership, but a loan with an option to buy is most likely," adds the report.

Maximilian Ibrahimovic says he 'hated football' growing up
Ibrahimovic Jr wasn't always the biggest football fan. In fact, after receiving his first call-up to play for Sweden under-18s in October 2024, he opened up on his turbulent relationship with the game.

“I started quite late, I was nine years old," he told Sportbladet, as per Milan News. "I started at a local club in France, in Paris. I stayed there for a few months, maybe a year. Then I played in the PSG academy. After that I went to the Manchester United academy.
“After that we moved to the US, I played at a local club in Los Angeles. Then for the last few months I played for LA Galaxy. Then I moved to Sweden, I went to Hammarby. And then I moved to Italy to play for Milan.”
He added: “Until I was 11, I hated football. I thought it was the worst thing in the world. Then, when I was 11 or 12, I started to like it.”
On why he hated football, Maximilian added: "It was like that, I just hated it. Nothing felt right, everything was wrong. I was always compared to my dad. I didn't fit in, but then I found love for this sport.”
