Xavi Hernandez ranked himself Steven Gerrard and Zinedine Zidane without hesitation in a new viral video.
The 45-year-old, who captained and managed Barcelona, is widely considered to be one of the best midfielders of all time - playing 767 times for the Blaugrana and winning a total of 25 major trophies.
A master in midfield with expert vision and intelligence, Xavi was also pivotal in Spain's dominant era which yielded two European Championships either side of a World Cup triumph in 2010.
But Xavi has regularly praised many of the opponents he has come up against over the years and did that again when he took part of a 'Stay quiet' challenge.

In the video with content creators Adrian Contreras and Unai Zaballa posted on Reddit, Xavi was tasked with remaining silent until he heard a midfielder better than him.

The interviewers threw a bunch of names at the Blaugrana legend, including Arda Guler, Gavi, Eduardo Camavinga, Pablo Barrios, Tijjani Reijnders, Fermin Lopez, Federico Valverde, Martin Zubimendi, Enzo Fernandez and Alexis Mac Allister.
Xavi remained silent and again kept quite when the likes of Jude Bellingham, Florian Wirtz, Pedri and Kevin De Bruyne got mentioned.

When Andrea Pirlo's name was mentioned, Xavi's facial expressions changed and he appeared close to breaking his silence before listening to greats like Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard and Claude Makelele being read out.
However, Xavi finally made noise when it came to Zidane - giving him the ultimate recognition and respect.
Xavi came up against Zidane in the early part of his career and contested El Clasico contests between Barca and Real Madrid.

And while he gave Zidane the most credit out of all the players in the video, one of his former managers told him was better than the Frenchman many years ago.
According to Xavi, Louis van Gaal, who had two spells as Barcelona boss, paid him the compliment when he was a young player.
Xavi was told he was better than Zidane
"[Van Gaal] taught me a lot," Xavi said.

"He told me 'you are better than Zidane.' I told him thanks, but not to get carried away. I have had a lot of good luck, have had great coaches. We were very unjust with him, he was a great coach."
