FIFA are in talks with Justin Bieber to feature in this month's World Cup final half-time show, according to reports.
The World Cup final isn't too far away, with well over half of the tournament's games having already been played.
As the knock-outs rage on, with each Round of 16 side being confirmed one game at a time, the North American edition's final will be played on July 19 in the United States.
To the dismay of some football fans, that event will feature a half-time show, akin to the Super Bowl, in which musicians will interrupt the break to perform for those watching.

As it stands, Shakira, BTS and Madonna will perform, but FIFA are reportedly now in talks to add another superstar musician to perform at the event.
The MetLife Stadium will be the venue for the final, and for its half-time performance, with the game likely to be slightly delayed at the break, as a result.
According to a report from TMZ, Justin Bieber is in talks with FIFA to appear, hoping to make an already stacked line-up even greater.
Justin Bieber in talks to headline World Cup 2026 final
Bieber recently appeared at the World Cup's opening ceremony alongside his wife, Hailey Bieber.
The 32-year-old also performed his hit song, Yukon, backstage to starry-eyed VIP guests at the event.

According to TMZ, Bieber is unlikely to tour anytime soon, making his one-off appearance in the final an even more anticipated, and exclusive, performance.
The musician's last album, SWAG II, was released in September 2025, a sequel and double album to the standalone record SWAG, also released in September.
Bieber's output as a musician has been staggered in recent years — after the release of 2015's Purpose, he took a five year hiatus from releasing music before returning in 2020.
Similarly, the 32-year-old took a four year hiatus between his latest record and 2021's Justice, which was received poorly by critics and audiences alike.
Bieber performed at Coachella earlier this year, with an intimate show that saw the musician play his old YouTube music videos to festival-goers and livestream-watchers.
He also released a live album to streaming services of this performance, entitled SWAG LIVE FROM COACHELLA (WEEKEND I).
While Bieber seems uninterested in full-scale tours, the musician is developing a penchant for one-off performances on the largest of stages.
The World Cup final certainly fits that description, and his devoted following of Beliebers will be a valuable audience for FIFA to see tuned into the event.
