A Manchester United player could soon leave the club as the Premier League side have revealed his reported ‘terms of exit’ just hours after Ruben Amorim’s sacking.
Manchester United’s hierarchy “reluctantly” decided to sack Amorim after 14 months in charge on Monday (January 5).
The Portuguese leaves the club sixth in the Premier League, having overseen a dreadful 15th-place finish in his first campaign in charge while also guiding the side to the 2024/25 Europa League final, which they lost against Spurs in Bilbao in May.
United have since confirmed that former midfielder Darren Fletcher will take charge on an interim basis ahead of Wednesday’s clash against Burnley.

The Scot, who is currently in charge of United’s Under-18s team, has yet to manage at a senior level.
Meanwhile, according to BBC Sport, United will appoint a caretaker for the rest of the season, but it won’t be Fletcher undertaking that role.

It remains unclear who the next permanent Manchester United manager will be, but the two frontrunners to take up the vacancy are former Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca and current Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner.
Amorim’s coaching team have also left United, and soon so could a costly player.
As reported by Sport Witness as well as several other outlets, Uruguayan midfielder Manuel Ugarte could soon join Galatasaray after struggling to nail down a regular starting spot since his August 2024 arrival from Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Sabah, Lucas Torreira, who plays for Uruguay alongside Ugarte, has vouched for his compatriot and told the Turkish giants to sign the 24-year-old during the January transfer window.
The outlet claims that United would be willing to accept a loan with a €30 million (£26.5m) mandatory buy clause for the midfielder who is contracted to the club until June 2029.
But one thing has to happen before the deal can be completed.

Gala are reportedly waiting to find out whether they’ll reach the Champions League knockout stages before committing to the expensive deal.
The Istanbul club are 18th in the 36-team Champions League league phase ahead of their final two group matches against Atletico Madrid and Manchester City.
Since arriving from PSG for up to £50.7 million, Ugarte has made 60 appearances for the Red Devils, contributing with two goals and six assists.
The 24-year-old is United’s 11th-highest earner and pockets around £120,000 per week according to Capology.
If he were to join Galatasaray, he would become the club’s fourth-highest earner behind Victor Osimhen, Leroy Sane, and Mauro Icardi.
