Roy Keane and Ian Wright were both in agreement over which position is the easiest to play on the pitch, although Gary Neville argued against their opinion in a heated debate.
The popular punditry trio engaged in an animated discussion on the subject during an episode of The Overlap, as Keane argued that right-back is the "easiest position to play" on the pitch.
Ian Wright, the former Arsenal and Crystal Palace striker who scored 287 goals across a 15-year career, agreed with his fellow pundit. "Yeah, you can see everything, you can get up the pitch," he added.

Neville, on the other hand, made his feelings clear on the matter.
The former Manchester United full-back argued: "I think that's, to be fair, subjective. Because I think if you're playing against a wide player that's quick and has got some skill, right-back is not easy."
Soon, Neville pointed at Keane. "If you're in midfield against players who can't pass a ball."
It didn't take long for Keane to bite back. "Put it this way," the Irishman began. "I went to right back and I done a decent job for the team. I know we were strong. You couldn't go into midfield and do what I was doing."

The former Republic of Ireland captain added: "I'm not taking anything away from your career, but you couldn't have played anywhere else."
Both pundits agreed that Neville was one of the best in his position. "You've done brilliantly at right-back," said Wright, who added: "But it was easier to do."
Neville went on to claim that he would flourish in a modern-day back three. "I could have played as a right centre-back," he said.

Keane soon pitched in. "Anyone can play in a back three," he grinned. "F*****g easy."
Chelsea players asked which position is easiest to play
Last year, the likes of Cole Palmer and Christopher Nkunku gave their thoughts on which position is the easiest to play, as now-Everton midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall agreed with Keane and Wright by suggesting full-back.
Palmer, meanwhile, thought being a defensive midfielder was the easiest. Nkunku said centre-back, Marcus Bettinelli, who recently joined Manchester City, went with a striker, and Marc Guiu selected goalkeeper.
